At night on April
7, 2012, bright neon lights are shining at New York Time Square, the
business commercial area.
There was the 60th Jasmine
Rally, the weekly rally since February 19, 2011.
Party member of DPC, Sun Deling,
chaired this rally. He firstly reported the recent political
situation in China. Mr. Sun said “NPC & CPPCC” held in March
in Beiping has two major topics: the first one is the certain items
of “Amendments of Criminal Procedure Law” were passed on this
People’s Congress; the second one was Bo Xilai, the current
National Political Committee member, who was considered to be
promoted to be a member of National Standing Committee at the
upcoming 18th National People’s Congress, was removed
from his position as Secretary of Municipal Committee of Chongqing
City.
The Common President of DPC, Wang
Juntao, spoke the topic at the rally. President Wang Juntao said
recently many websites forums were considered as the rightist and
leftist by the authority of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and were
shut down for a month in order to be readjusted. The reason of
readjustment is these websites reported the illegal constitutional
laws and slandered and attacked the leaders of state and frantically
discussed the articles and information of the 18th
National People’s Congress. The readjusted websites now have the
same feature that fills with the colors of rightist and leftist. The
contents focus on the ideology and keep argument harmoniously.
President Wang Juntao also told a very sad news that the spiritual
guider of 89 Democracy Movement who was exiled to the U.S., the
former youngest member of Science Constitution of China, the famous
astrophysicist, Fang Lizhi passed away on April 6 in Arizona.
The Officer Director of DPC, Zhang
Yuhong, led to sing the Jiangsu folk song, “Such A Beautiful
Jasmine.” The participators in this rally are Wang Juntao, Zhang
Yuhong, Xu Guoxin, Xu Ming, Sun Delin, Zhang Rong, Sun Yu, Lu Bing,
Gen Xifu, Wang Shuying, Zhang Chengliang, Yang Ming, Gen Qiumin, Gu
Xiaoyan, Chen Hantao, LI Guowei, Wang Ruilong, Peng Yongyan, Li Wen,
Sun Shuzi, Wang Xiaoxia, Lu Wenfang, Liu Zengyun, Wang, Yiming, He
Xing, Zhang, Shoufeng, Wu Jiang, Wang, Lili and Li Qianchuan, etc.
